Access

The Haute Maurienne is the southernmost valley of the Northern Alps. From a bird's eye view, it is situated between Val d'Isère and Briançon.
Given this location, the Haute Maurienne hold a distinctive ambiance thanks to the light of the Southern Alps, the Mediterranean forests, and the magnificent stretches of pine trees. Alpine motorways  up A41 and A43 to Modane, after follow the N6 road.

By train

TGV (high-speed train) 4 hours, from Paris to Modane. At the station of modane, taxis and buses serve the various stations.
